Senior Programmer Analyst
Wind Lake Solutions has an excellent full-time career opportunity for an experienced IT professional to work as a member of our Product Development team in our Mukwonago, WI office.
Responsibilities:
This individual will perform a variety of tasks relating to the design, development, testing and documentation of RDBMS and web-based applications for the utility industry. Additional responsibilities include:

Play a key roll in working with management in the development of new functionality and enhancements of existing software.

Design, implement and maintain MS SQL Server database functionality including interaction with a web-based UI environment.

Consult and work with the users and developers to resolve application or data conflicts.
-
Assume responsibility for quality control, auditing and security of databases to ensure accurate and appropriate use of resources and data.
-
Participate in release engineering and support for enterprise software applications.
-
Work with management to develop strategies to support the organization’s objectives.
-
Manage user requests, provide system support and perform troubleshooting.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have work experience/knowledge designing and developing databases and end user applications utilizing Microsoft ASP.NET and SQL Server with strong creativity, knowledge of web site design and good design techniques. Additional requirements are:

Web Development (VB.Net, HTML, ASP.NET, and JavaScript) experience (3+ years)
-
MS SQL Server database administration experience (2+ years)
-
Knowledge deploying and maintaining IIS websites including SSL (2+ years)
-
SQL Server (Stored Procedures, PL/SQL) experience (2+ years)
-
Knowledge developing end-user applications with Visual Basic and C#, a plus (3+ years)
-
AJAX knowledge a plus.
-
Web Services knowledge a plus.
-
Knowledge of object-oriented programming techniques (3+ years)
-
Understanding of the “abilities” of applications and systems: scalability, performance, reliability, availability, manageability, security, maintainability, and extensibility.
-
BS in computer science (or related field with computer emphasis). Relevant job experience will also be considered in lieu of a degree.

Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
-
Prior Consulting experience preferred.
